omg wtf worst night of work ever. It was insanely busy and I didn't make much in tips, which is kind of strange. In other news, the new girl looks EXACTLY like Hannah Wood *STARES* Hoo boy.

I seem to have some bizarre sort of luck when it comes to being unprepared. I forget to study for a test and magically the test is postponed. I stand someone up (extremely rare) and it turns out that they forgot we had plans. I always feel like such an arse when they're apologetic about it later. So yesterday I, being the colossal slacker that I am, didn't do anything remotely productive. I didn't prepare any of my pieces for my lesson, I didn't line up my accompanist, and I didn't practice for piano. I did, however, manage to feel vaguely guilty about all of it while I sat around watching The Simpsons and eating cookies. But, once again, my luck kicked in and I was saved at the last minute by the ice storm that is sweeping through South Carolina. Just the mention of icy roads is enough to send most Southerners into a panic so all of the schools and offices are closed today. Life is good.

So I was walking to Cool Beans from the music building yesterday and I saw a sign for a lost kitten posted on a light pole. This, of course, is not humorous but I had to laugh when I saw that the kitten's name was Viggo. The owner even listed a phonetic spelling of the name. Poor little lost Viggo... In other news, I am already slacking off this semester. I think it might have something to do with the weather *cough*lame excuse*cough*. I probably just suck. Oh well.
